Burns was shown sparingly at specialties only until finishing his championship by going BOW at DCA and DCA host in 2013 from the BBE class. Since then, he has been selectively shown as a special and has surpassed my wildest dreams. He currently has multiple Reserve Best in Shows, Group Ones, Group placements, specialty wins and recently won BOV at both DCA host shows in 2014 and BOB at one DCA host show 2014.  He is currently in the top 5 longhaired dachshunds and is always breeder/owner/handled.  He is also excelling in other areas. He needs only a placement to earn his title field championship and has completed his JE title. His puppies are starting to hit the ring and are turning heads. His littermate daughters were WB at both DCA host shows 2014 and one was RWB at DCA 2014. Burns is a sweet natured, smart dog who has really helped fill a void left by Primo.
